ENOUGH FOR TODAY

-by MICHAEL JACKSON,
Danding the Dream

Dance rehearsals can go on past midnight, but this time I stopped at ten.
"I hope you don´t mind," I said, looking up into space, "but that´s enough for today."

A voice from the control room spoke. "You okay?"
"A little tired, I guess," I said.
I slipped on a windbreaker and headed down the hall. Running foot-
steps came up behind me. I was pretty sure who they belonged to. "I know you too well" she said, catching up with me. "What´s really wrong?"

I hesitated. "Well, I don´t know how this sounds, but I saw a picture
today in the newspapers. A dolphin had drowned in a fishing net. From the way
its body was tangled in the lines, you could read so much agony. Its eyes
were vacant, yet there was still that smile, the one dolphin never lose, even
when they die..." My voice trailed off.
She put her hand lightly in mine. "I know, I know."

"No, you don´t know all of it yet. It´s not just that I felt sad, or had to
face te fact that an innocent being had died. Dolphins love to dance-of
all the creatures in the sea, that´s their mark. Asking nothing from us, they cavort in the waves while we marvel. They race ahead of ships, not to get
there first but to tell us ´It´s all meant to be play. Keep to your course, but
dance while you do it."
"So there I was, in the middle of rehearsal, and I thought, "They´re
killing a dance.´ And then it seemed only right to stop. I can´t keep the
dance from being killed, but at least I can pause in memory, as one dancer
to another. Does that make any sense?"

Her eyes were tender. "Sure, in its way. Probably we´ll wait years be-
fore everyone agrees on how to solve this thing. So many interests are in-
volved. But it´s too frustrating waiting for improvements tomorrow. Your
heart wanted to have its say now."
"Yes," I said, pushing the door open for her. "I just had this feeling,
and that´s enough for today."

Dolphin, Power Animal, Symbol of Breath of Life, Love, Balance and Community

By Ina Woolcott

Dolphin teaches us that when we live in tune with the patterns and rhythm of nature, we learn how to truly be in touch with, resonate and communicate with All That IS and how to share this sagacity with anyone interested. There are those that believe Dolphins are more intelligent than humans. Especially when it comes to love. They have large brains, superior intelligence and are often associated in mythical lore with higher forms of consciousness. Some believe they are far more evolved than we are, especially on a spiritual level. Some believe they are alien beings from a different dimension.

Dolphins are connected with the power of breath and with emotional release, which are also both deeply connected. One of the most important factors in spiritual growth is to give ourselves the freedom of full experiencing our feelings and emotions. Often negative emotions are suppressed as we don't want to be a part of them, so we try to stay apart from them. Feelings of sadness, pain, anger, grief. We need to stop doing this, as this only lays the foundation for disagreeable outcomes. We need to feel our feelings, by suppressing these feelings, of course they DO NOT go away. They are still there, subconsciously, manifesting blocked energy with-in, and if these blocks aren't removed, this can go on to physical imbalances, with-out. On top of this, by blocking these so called negative feelings, this can result in losing the quality of being able to feel at all, losing much of life's joy. Becoming dead to the world.

Simply stated breathing is conversing with the outside world. When people feel that the outside world is a source of pain, they learn, very frequently at a young age, to constrict their breathing. The diaphragm is built to assist us in breathing and to feel deeply, but it becomes suppressed. When we learn to breathe deeply we can learn to feel deeply, in turn letting go of stifled feelings. One way of doing this is to copy the dolphins pattern of breathing, a superb tension reliever!. Dolphin breathes deeply, holds his breath underwater, then breathes out forcefully. Living in water is an important characteristic of Dolphin, as in many belief systems, including astrology, water is related to feeling and emotion.

If Dolphin swims into your life, he is asking you to relish water both physically and mentally, swimming freely and going along with your natural feelings. He is showing you how to enter the waters of life and then with breath and sound call forth what you most need or desire. Dolphins use a variety of whistles, grunts, clicks, and body postures to communicate. They have unique, personal whistles they give out. If they want to get the attention of another Dolphin, they give out their personal whistle. Sound is the creative life force and a big part of dolphins life, therefore this needs to be a part of your life. Communicate. With those around you and All That Is. Creating inner sounds creates outer manifestations. If Dolphin is your power animal, you may do well using your voice for healing or communicating, whether incorporating this into a job or just as a hobby or in day to day life with those nearest and dearest to you..

Dolphins have a wise, innocent, purity of being which reaches out to our inner nature. Follow their lead and open yourself to the energy of love, harmony and balance. Express your inner truth, be true to yourself. follow your inner joy. Dolphin is asking you to go back to your roots, to the depths of your being and rediscover the Love that you truly are.

Dolphins spend most of their day playing. Their life is lived in joyful harmony with each other and their world. Apparently they have learned the lesson that love is the most important factor in life. If dolphin is your power animal he may be there to teach you how to love yourself and your world more. A big part of Dolphins medicine is living in balanced, harmonious communities. They live in big groups of up to 100. Females will give birth to a single offspring, with several dolphins around her, helping with the birth, pulling the newborn out by its tail. They then protect him or her from any imminent danger. If a dolphin is hurt or ill, other dolphins will tend to them, lifting them to the surface to breathe.

Dolphins Wisdom Includes - Knowledge of the sea, change, patron of sailors, harmony, wisdom, balance, Communication skills, freedom, trust, understanding the power of rhythm in your life, use of breath to release intense emotions, water element magic, unselfishness. Dolphin reminds us to get out, play and most importantly, to breathe.

Tigre Blanco - White Tiger

The Symbolic Tiger

As a totem that corresponds to the great Dao, the tiger holds numerous symbolic meanings: Lung, breath, Qi, respiration system, change, control, circulation, rule, rhythm, West, Metal, Venus, transparency, upright, justice, autumn, wind, the Queen Mother of the West, and the seven Chinese lunar mansions in the Western sky.

Generally, in Chinese shamanic tradition, the tiger is addressed as Baihu-White Tiger. In Chinese culture, white does not merely mean the color white; rather, it is the symbol for transparency, clarity, purification, justice, or punishment, and is also symbolic of the activities of killing and destruction. The symbol for white is equal to the spiritual quality of the tiger totem. In nature, we can learn about the spiritual White Tiger through the "killing" atmosphere of the fall season. This killing is the process that generates new life in the spring season and is the natural way to clear out old energy and weakness and to maintain stronger life energy.

As we observe in nature, when autumn comes, strong wind not only sweeps down the leaves from the trees but also breaks down the weak and sick branches of the trees. When the next spring comes, these trees grow into a better shape. We can discover this natural-spiritual tiger "killing" function of the fall season in the body by learning the function of the Lung. Regular Lung function breaks down old energy (including dead cells), clears up stagnation, kills invading evil (virus), and maintains Qi circulation. We would get sick easily without this "killing" function of Lung.

Spirit of White Tiger

with

Wolfs Moon

Role: ~Seeker of Personal Truth ~

Lesson: Power of Conviction

Element: Fire

Wind: South, Recalling the ~Inner Child~

Medicine: Uniqueness

With Power and Strength, you glide through the night,
silent as the mist that evaporates with
the first rays of morning light

Eyes, glowing with a blue fire that reflect both water and sky,
you stare deeply into the Soul, leaving nothing unknown,
for all is revealed before your penetrating gaze

Keenest of all is the gaze you turn Inward,
searching the depths of your restless spirit
in a quest to know your Self

The Hunt for Personal Truth is called
. . . and swiftly answered

When the Truth is revealed, torn free from the grasp of the past,
any fear felt is faced with stealthy observation
and unrelenting determination,
for Fear now is the Prey

Divining Personal Truth

The White Tiger`s hide of white with dark brown stripes provides near perfect camouflage during the hours of dawn and dusk, the hours during which he/she is most likely to hunt for food. Being thus endowed, the white of the tiger appears to the eyes of potential prey, to be innocuous areas of sunlight in the forest or jungle, while the stripes provide the illusion of shadow. Thus, it is believed that this is a spirit that dwells in both the world of darkness (physical realm) as well as that of the light (spirit realm).

***One who is blessed to have White Tiger walk beside them, is here with the Role to Seek Personal Truth. Yet in order to thoroughly understand and absorb the lessons and responsibilities of this role, White Tiger Soul need first acknowledge the shadows that exist ~Within.~

The shadows that are represented by the dark stripes of the White Tiger, may be in the form of beliefs or behaviors which bring pain either to the Self or to Others, fear turned inward, which ultimately manifests as hatred or anger, or Untruths which he/she has borne, either through the act of omission or the direct voicing of Untruth.

Yet the challenge here is acknowledgment and the facing of Personal Truths free of judgment, self retribution or placing the "responsibility" onto another. Instead, true integration and acknowledgment of Personal Truths comes from accepting what is revealed with an open and understanding heart, while operating with the Higher Intent to change what is ultimately harmful, painful or no longer of service to the growth of the individual soul along its Life Path.

Once this self-examination and soul level ~cleansing~ has been accomplished, White Tiger Soul may then become the gleaming example to his/her fellow two-leggeds of the gift and beauty of operating from Personal Truth.***

Strength through Conviction

The male White Tiger can average ten feet long and weigh nearly 500 pounds, with the female being slightly smaller at an average of nine feet long and weighing in at around 300 pounds. Typical life span of the White Tiger varies between fifteen and twenty years, though some tigers have been known to live for as long as thirty years.

This magnificent creature is a deadly predator with the ability to take down prey that ranges from small wild boar, to large buffalo. They can reach speeds of 35 miles an hour in pursuit of their prey, however they rely more upon their ability to stalk (being well camouflaged by their stripes) and their lethal pounce, than their ability to outrun their prey.

It only takes one look at the beauty, grace and power of this wonderful animal to recognize that this is a being of incredible Strength.

***White Tiger is drawn to a soul that has a powerful sense of conviction and inner strength. Therefore, one who is blessed with this Power Totem will have strong ideas of what is "right" and "wrong," and will stand by this personal belief system, even if that means leaping in the face of popular opinion.

Naturally, this may either engender one to be an advocate of such issues as political and philosophical freedoms, or they may feel compelled to be a champion for the ~under-dogs~ of life. However, if one is operating from Contrary White Tiger Medicine, the impulse may lean toward a judgmental attitude to any individuals who do not share their thoughts or feelings on what constitutes "right" and "wrong" thoughts, actions or deeds, or they may be arrogant in the assumption that their opinion is the only "valid" one.

Regardless of whether White Tiger Soul is operating from Higher Intent or Contrary Medicine, these individuals will be well known for their outspokenness and strength of conviction. They are here to teach us the importance of knowing ones inner values and beliefs, and to instruct us to align the way in which we walk our Path so it is in keeping with our belief system.

When one chooses to operate from the higher vibration of White Tiger, an impassioned voice may be raised as an advocate for Balance and Acceptance, a Teacher of Fundamental Philosophy might be born, or a Leader may emerge to guide the way along the path of Universal Truth.***

Uniqueness
The White Tiger is from the Bengal sub-species of Panthera Tigeris and its white coat, blue eyes and pink nose are formed from a double recessive gene, giving them a truly special and wonderfully unique appearance.

All tigers, including the White Tiger, are not typical of their other feline cousins in that they not only tolerate water, they actually enjoy swimming, playing and indulging themselves in ponds and streams and will spend a good deal of the hot days in frolicking in and around water sources.

Sadly, this Tiger is on the Endangered Species list, warning us that this magnificent and beautiful creature is threatened with complete extinction unless we, as guardians of the Earth Mother and all the dwell upon Her, act consciously to preserve this awesome animal.

***Much like their Power Totem, White Tiger Souls are individuals in every sense of the word and pride themselves upon standing apart from the group. It is this inner drive to be recognized for their unique contributions, that will often propel he/she who walks with White Tiger, into positions of public attention and recognition. Consequently, many leaders who have elicited sweeping changes and reformation have had the blessing of White Tiger.

White Tiger reminds us that although we are All One, it is the specialized contribution of the Individual that begins the spark that later becomes the blazing torch that illuminates the night, growing brighter with each individual spirit that contributes their own unique Light.

If White Tiger manifests the Contrary Medicine, then he/she may be the proverbial rebel without a cause, tossing a stone into a calm lake without the intent of a Higher Good being served and merely to watch the ripples spread outward.

Yet when the powerful and highly individualized energies so abundant with this Totem can be harnessed and channeled in a constructive manner, then their gift of Uniqueness can spread lasting changes that benefit the Whole. The resulting manifestation is as a brilliant star in a night sky beckoning all to partake in the beauty and fire of Life.***

In China, there are 5 mystic tigers:
The red tiger is south, summer and fire,
the black tiger is the symbol of north, winter and water,
the blue tiger is east, spring and vegetation,
the white tiger is west, autumn and all metals,
the yellow tiger is ruler of the Earth and its energies.

The White Tiger is a symbol of :

1. Devining Personal Truth (Descerning and facing personal truths)
2. Strength through conviction (great inner strength and powerful convictions)
3. Uniqueness. (Stand apart from the group)

Having one walk over you, and you not being afraid may be that you are involved somehow in self discovery. "Watching" the white tiger walk over you. Digging deeper than you may have before to discover something about yourself that needs correction (and your willingness to correct it). Also could be that you realized that someone else is not responsible for something you have been holding them accountable for.

As far as being chased by one, you may be running away from self discovery. Hiding out, closing the door. White tiger wants you to be aware of your own decision to close doors rather than face what is indide of you. Your fear of the truth may be more powerfull than it should be.

Jaguar is the physical embodiment of the spirit of the earth. It is the honest and direct expression of the divine mother's desire to travel out of her world and into the world of her creations; to govern and to love as a seperate entity and not just a behind the scenes creatrix. Jaguar lives at the cusp of individual being and unified existence: metaphorically speaking, it is the cat in the lap of the divine mother. Why Jaguar as opposed to another cat? Jaguar embodies balance. It is the perfect fusion of size, strength, and agility, never sacrificing one dimension in favor of another. Also, Jaguar lives alone, it is solitary, representing its strong desire to be in the presence of the divine mother (think meditation/contemplation). It abandons its solitude only for a mate or child (whom it raises to be the same), and to that mate or child only for a brief period before returning to solitude which is a statement of the divine value of such relationships. Jaguar is the angel guarding the gates to eden and is the most ruthless warrior of all cats crushing the skull of its prey with a single bite.

Tortuga - Turtle

"A life of non-doing. There is a saying "home is where the heart is". The turtle is always at home within itself."

-OSHO, The Sun Rises in the Evening, cap. 7

COMENTARIO:

SLOWING DOWN:
Meditation is a kind of medicine - its use is only for the time being. Once you have learned the quality, then you need not do any particular meditation; then the meditation has to spread all over your life. Walking is Zen, sitting is Zen.

Then what will be the quality? Watchfully, alert, joyously, unmotivated, centered, loving, flowing, one walks. And the walking is sauntering. Loving, alert, watchful, one sits, unmotivated - not sitting for anything in particular, just enjoying how beautiful just sitting doing nothing is, how relaxing, how restful..... After a long walk, you sit under a tree and the breeze comes and cools you. Each moment one has to be at ease with oneself - not trying to improve, not cultivating anything, not practicing anything.

Walking is Zen, sitting is Zen. Talking or silent, moving, unmoving, the essence is at ease. The essence is at ease: that is the key word. The essence is at ease: that is the key statement. Do whatsoever you are doing, but at the deepest core remain at ease, cool, calm, centered.

Osho The Sun Rises in the Evening Chapter 7

COMMENTARY:
The Knight of Rainbows is a reminder that, just like this tortoise, we carry our home with us wherever we go. There is no need to hurry, no need to seek shelter elsewhere. Even as we move into the depths of the emotional waters, we can remain self-contained and free from attachments.

It is a time when you are ready to let go of any expectations you have had about yourself or other people, and to take responsibility for any illusions you might have been carrying. There is no need to do anything but rest in the fullness of who you are right now. If desires and hopes and dreams are fading away, so much the better. Their disappearance is making space for a new quality of stillness and acceptance of what is, and you are able to welcome this development in a way you have never been able to before. Savor this quality of slowing down, of coming to rest and recognizing that you are already at home.

´S H A M A N I S M O´ Moderno

I think I could turn and live with animals,
they're so placid and self-contained,
I stand and look at them long and long.
They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,
Not one is dissatisfied,
not one is demented with the mania of owning things,
Not one kneels to another,
nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,
Not one is respectable or unhappy over the whole earth.
("Song of Myself", Walt Whitman, 1819-1892)
